How our sizes are listed

Every size on Romantic English is listed width × height, in inches. Width always comes first.

• 90" × 57" = 90 inches wide by 57 inches tall. That is a horizontal (landscape) piece.
• 57" × 90" = 57 inches wide by 90 inches tall. That is a vertical (portrait) piece.
• 59" × 59" = a square piece.

If the first number is larger, the tapestry is horizontal. If the second number is larger, it is vertical.

Is the width or the height listed first?
Width is always listed first, then height: width × height.

I am looking for a vertical tapestry. Which sizes should I choose?
Choose a size where the second number (the height) is larger than the first, for example 27" × 37", 57" × 78", 57" × 90" or 57" × 117". You can also browse our Vertical Tapestries collection.

I am looking for a horizontal tapestry. Which sizes should I choose?
Choose a size where the first number (the width) is larger, for example 37" × 27", 78" × 57", 90" × 57" or 117" × 90". You can also browse our Horizontal Tapestries collection.

Are the measurements in inches?
Yes. All sizes are in inches.

Can I order a custom size?
Yes, custom sizes are available on request. Email clientservices@romanticenglish.com with the width and height you need.
